A contractor you work for uses MySubbys to keep track of who is clear to work on their sites. They have asked you to put your paperwork in one place so they stop ringing you about it.
Here is exactly what that means.
What is valid, and what runs out next.
It opens in your phone’s browser. There is no app to download and nothing to install.
Insurance, your card, anything else they have asked for. A photo of the certificate is fine. You do not need a scanner.
Five minutes, once. After that it tells you before anything runs out, so you are not finding out at the gate.
The contractor who asked you, and nobody else. Your documents are not shared with other contractors, they are not passed to anyone, and they are not sold.
If you work for two firms who both use MySubbys, each one sees only their own site. You can see which of them you are on, at any time, from your own screen.
You can ask for your documents to be deleted. How we handle all of this is set out in the privacy notice.
It depends on the trade and the site, but it is usually these.
The certificate, showing the cover and the date it runs to.
If you have anyone working for you, this one is a legal requirement.
CSCS or the equivalent for your trade. Front of the card is enough.
Usually the contractor’s, for you to read and sign.
For you and anyone you bring. The contractor has to be able to prove they checked.
Done once per site, and it is recorded so nobody asks you twice.
